Shipping: I will charge you what it costs me for the USPS label rounded up to the nearest dollar. For First Class that is usually $4, for USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Small Box it will be $9. I will get you a tracking number right after payment is received and will get your package scanned into the USPS system within 24 hours of receipt of payment. I will offer "Risky Shipping" (via stamped greeting card) at my discretion for $1 - for single, small coins ONLY. NOTE: These prices are for Continental US shipping only - if you live outside the continental US, shipping will be more expensive. I am still happy to do it under the same rules as above, but just keep in mind it's going to cost more.

There are too many coins here (plus there are duplicates) so I cannot look up the coins you want by description - just give me lot numbers and it will be much simpler.

Hey guys!!! I think it's time I start actually for real planning this!
The dates will be Sept. 20-22. But if you want to hang out longer, I'm always down to do stuff! And you can join us for any or all of the weekend.
I live in the Northern Virginia suburbs, about 20 minutes outside the city. There are a good amount of hotels near me as well as AirBnB options. If you want to stay downtown, I can help plan that, too!
Things to do around here include: the Smithsonian museums (free!), a ton of other museums, Mount Vernon, Kings Dominion or Six Flags, the zoo, wineries, hiking/kayaking/outdoorsy stuff, Civil War sites, endless history stuff, MGM casino, National Harbor, apple picking... And hanging out with ME!! 😂
We usually try to do at least a couple group meals, and then people can break off to do what interests them. I'm planning on making a big family meal at least one night.
To further guilt entice you into coming, that Saturday is my birthday, and I want to hang out with you guys!!!!

I’ll leave the research about specific hotels up to you, but here are some general options to consider.

• Chain hotels (Holiday Inn, etc.)
• Close to the action (about 5-10 minute walk to stadium, give or take)
• several parking garage options
• Inner Harbor with dining and shopping is within minutes by foot

Harbor East

• Adjacent to the Inner Harbor
• a little more “upscale” with fine dining restaurants and big brand shopping
• a few of the “luxury” chain hotels
• 15-20 minute walk to the stadium (more like 30 at a leisurely pace)
• parking garage for this location

Other hotels near the stadium

• on the other side of the stadium
• near the Horseshoe Casino.

• limited access by foot to the city

Away from the stadium

• a few unique hotels nestled into historic architecture
• mostly in The Mount Vernon neighborhood
• popular (but expensive) is the Ivy Hotel on Biddle Street

• Look for spot in Federal Hill for closest access to stadium

Near the airport

• business/chain hotels
• city is accessible by light rail with stops directly in front of the stadium
• easily connects by highway to the city
• south of the city, good location if you want to do a Washington, DC, day trip

Hunt Valley

• North of the city
• a number of business hotels
• suburban shopping and dining experience with a “town center” nearby
• city can be reached by light rail or a short drive down I-83

Towson

• college town on the northern outskirts of the city
• By car, Charles Street is the easiest way south to the stadium and attractions
• large mall and plenty of bars, but expect a younger crowd.

Getting to/from the Stadium
By foot (if staying nearby) - self explanatory
By car - If you plan on parking on a stadium lot or on the street nearby the stadium:

• From I-95: take exit 52 for Russell Street, expect traffic. Or take exit 53 to enter downtown.
• From 295/Baltimore-Washington Parkway: follow to end of highway which changes over to Russell St. at the city line.
• From I-83: Follow south until it changes over to President St. entering downtown

Public transportation - light rail with several park-and-ride stops north and south of the city. Terminal stops at Hunt Valley and BWI
UbeLyft - you won’t be able to get too close to the stadium due to blocked off streets/traffic/and tailgating on the streets around the stadium. Plan to be picked up and dropped off towards the outskirts of the stadium area
Parking
Stadium Lot - convenient if you don’t mind paying. Will deal with the most traffic using this option
Private lot - a large number of lots charging $15-30 for parking. Many feature official or unofficial large tailgates
Street - if you arrive early enough there is free street parking on the west side of the stadium. This is in the area of Wicomico Ave. You can set up your tailgate right where you park
Tailgating
Tailgating at Ravens games is not limited to stadium lots. Many will park their cars on surrounding streets and set up their tailgate right there. Additionally, there are several private lots that host their own tailgate parties with food and drink for purchase. There are also all-inclusive tailgates. Cops are around directing traffic but they turn a blind eye to public drinking laws. In my opinion, the tailgate scene outside of the stadium is where you really want to be.
If you are looking to join an open tailgate, I'd look for a larger group. Your best bet is to pay for an all-inclusive tailgate (it sounds like Jimmy's Seafood and a few others host these) or to simply wonder into an open one (some are open without paying to enter or for parking). Offering food or drink to members of the tailgate will usually get you in on good terms and provide a way to connect.
The Firehouse is near the stadium and a great option if you don’t want to deal with paying to get on a private lot or setting up a whole tailgate on the street for 2 or 3 people. It has a bar inside and bathrooms (nice) and food and drink also for sale outside.
There is also the Game-day Warehouse, but I don’t know much about that.

Neighborhoods
Baltimore is a city of neighborhoods. Here are a few worth visiting depending on tastes.

• Federal Hill - young professionals and college kids on the weekends, many bars surrounding Cross Street Market
• Fell’s Point - East of the Inner Harbor, sits on the water. Probably the largest concentrations of bars in Baltimore. Established residents of all ages and young crowd on weekends. Great music featured most nights in many bars.
• Mount Vernon - historic attractions, a few great bars and restaurants
• Hampden - quirky and hip, “the Avenue” features a number of unique bars and restaurants. During december check out the lights on 34th street
• Canton - young professionals and established resident’s, a bit more calm than Fells Point or Fed Hill but still lively weekend crowds.
• Station North - Baltimore’s arts district. Many would consider grimey or questionably located near some rougher parts of the city, but a few good bars and restaurants (Pen & Quill, Joe Squared). Also location of Charles Theater.
• Little Italy - authentic italian dining between the Inner Harbor and Harbor East.
• Pig Town - next to stadium, some tailgating spills into this area.

Safety
Baltimore has a reputation as a rough and dangerous city, and its not unfounded. The vibe of an area will literally change when crossing on street into a different neighborhood. Know where you are going. Most crime occurs at these crossover points.
At the tailgates, kids will try to sell you cookies they bought from the dollar store. Some will say they are raising money for a cause. Some might be lying some might be telling the truth. Also people trying to sell bootleg Ravens gear. Totally harmless but something to be aware of.
